Modern browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome have better support for newer technologies. Drop shadows, rounded corners, animations, etc., are not available for other browsers such as Internet Explorer 8 and below. Internet Explorer users have the option of downloading the Google Chrome Frame plugin for their browser in order to see these rich features.
