WTP Books Win Six Midwest Book Award Medals

Wisdom Tales Press is honored to have two of our recent books winning 2024 Midwest Book Award medals. The two books are:

Wonder: A Song of the Seasons (written by Julia Key and illustrated by Helen Cann), winning Gold Medals in the categories “Design – Illustration,” “Design – Interior Design,” and “Design – Total Book Design” as well as Silver Medals in the categories “Fiction – Children’s picture books” and “Design – Cover Design.”

The other book is Bless Ye the Lord: Praise Song of the Three Holy Children by Frances Tyrrell, which won a Silver Medal in the category “Design – Interior Design.”

Founded in 1984, the Midwest Independent Publishers Association (MiPA) is a regional affiliate of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). MiPA founders organized the first Midwest Book Awards in 1989, and today the Midwest Book Awards is one of the longest running literary recognition programs in the country. Judges for the prestigious literary program are booksellers, university staff and librarians who are subject matter experts and collectively hail from each of MiPA’s twelve states.
